DESCRIPTION:Our Community Connectors meetings are held every 6-8 weeks across the County.  All community and voluntary organisations are welcome to join\, come together and share what they do\, with people from other community and voluntary organisations.\nThese meetings alternate between online and in person events.  Each meeting is unique\, with guest speakers\, knowledge sharing and networking to help strengthen the voluntary and community sectors.\nEach meeting is facilitated by one of our in-house Community Development Officers and is available for anyone within the sector to join.\nFor more information or to book onto an upcoming event email: enquiries@community-resource.org.uk

Margaret\, Church Stretton.\nThe ever popular ‘Falls Awareness’ Sessions\, provided by Community Resource is a free falls prevention session empowering session participants to gain the tools to safely manoeuvre their homes to avoid trips\, slips and falls.\nDelivered by knowledgeable professionals\, the two-hour session includes:\n  *   A short informative film\n  *   An interactive demonstration to include how to get up safely from the floor after a fall\n  *   A Falls Plan – a talk and planning to ensure your home is safe\n  *   Calling for help\nPlaces are limited\, so please book in advance by phoning the Community Resource team on 01743 360641 or email enquiries@community-resource.org.uk and we will contact you to discuss the details.\nAttendance is free but charitable donations are gratefully received.\nWe offer a range of falls prevention events\, so if you are interested in having an event at your venue please email enquiries@community-resource.org.uk and we will contact you to discuss the details.
