DESCRIPTION:Boccia Taster Session\nExperience the enjoyment and benefits of boccia yourselves with a FREE taster session for your group.\n  *   Whether played competitively or just for fun\, boccia offers a great way to exercise and improve your muscle control\, eye coordination and balance.\n  *   Disability friendly and adaptable for all ages and abilities\, boccia uses lightweight balls suitable for users with limited strength and mobility.\n  *   With simple adaptable rules of play\, the aim is for your team to score as many points as possible by getting as many of your boccia balls closer to the ‘jack’ (or target ball) than your opponent.\n  *   A game of boccia can hinge on a single throw to bring your team home to victory. Whether taking careful aim at the target ‘jack’ or cheering on your team\, you’ll soon be an avid boccia enthusiast!\nAttendance is free but charitable donations are gratefully received.

These hubs are staffed by Audiology-trained volunteers and are suitable for NHS hearing aid wearers who need:\n  *   Hearing aids retubed\n  *   Battery collection\n  *   Advice on hearing care\nAppointments for the hubs must be pre-booked – please contact us on 01743 360641 to reserve your place.\nIf you need help with your hearing aid and you have obtained your aid through the hospital audiology service you can attend one of their community clinics across the county. SUMMARY:Care & Share (dementia support groups) - Market Drayton
DESCRIPTION:Our Care and Share groups offer a warm and welcoming place to socialise\, make new friends and take respite for family carers and family members with mild to moderate dementia. Members are able to relax and mix with other people who have similar experiences of caring for a loved one with dementia or memory loss. Once the group is established we arrange for family carers to have a three-hour respite break\, usually once a month.
