DESCRIPTION:Community Resource hosts a number of Hearing Loss Support Hubs around the county. These hubs are staffed by Audiology-trained volunteers and are suitable for NHS hearing aid wearers who need:\n  *   Hearing aids retubed\n  *   Battery collection\n  *   Advice on hearing care\nAppointments for the hubs must be pre-booked – please contact us on 01743 360641 to reserve your place.\nIf you need help with your hearing aid and you have obtained your aid through the hospital audiology service you can attend one of their community clinics across the county. SUMMARY:Care & Share (dementia support groups) - Albrighton
DESCRIPTION:Our Care and Share groups offer a warm and welcoming place to socialise\, make new friends and take respite for family carers and family members with mild to moderate dementia. Members are able to relax and mix with other people who have similar experiences of caring for a loved one with dementia or memory loss. Once the group is established we arrange for family carers to have a three-hour respite break\, usually once a month. There is a monthly membership fee for joining the group\, covers the costs of activities\, refreshments and the respite break.
