Supporting our Voluntary and Community Support Team

With the support of Shropshire Council The ‘Shropshire Voluntary Community Sector Infrastructure Support’ Project (The Voluntary & Community Support team) at Community Resource (more information here) have received funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (Department for levelling up, housing & communities).

Community Resource wish to outsource the undertaking of a VCSE Infrastructure Needs Assessment within Shropshire.

The purpose of this work will allow the Voluntary & Community Support Team at Community Resource to have a clear understanding of what VCSE organisations within Shropshire both need and want in terms of community infrastructure support and the associated services within their local communities, providing the ability to assess current and future service provision.

We expect the research to be representative of VCSE organisations across the County of Shropshire (not including Telford & Wrekin, therefore research areas should include the urban population of Central Shrewsbury as well as extend to those VCSE organisations classified as rural and in a sparse setting and everything in between.
