* Whether played competitively or just for fun, boccia offers a great way to exercise and improve your muscle control, eye coordination and balance.
* Disability friendly and adaptable for all ages and abilities, boccia uses lightweight balls suitable for users with limited strength and mobility.
* With simple adaptable rules of play, the aim is for your team to score as many points as possible by getting as many of your boccia balls closer to the ‘jack’ (or target ball) than your opponent.
* A game of boccia can hinge on a single throw to bring your team home to victory. Whether taking careful aim at the target ‘jack’ or cheering on your team, you’ll soon be an avid boccia enthusiast!
Attendance is free but charitable donations are gratefully received.
